Fall 2020 COVID-19 Protocol

We need to work together to keep everyone safe, so that we can have as long a season as possible.


Players are expected to wear a mask — both to and from — the field.
Masks may be removed once training begins.

Students should self-assess regarding the following symptoms each day before coming to practice or games:

• Temperature/Fever (>100.4 degrees)

• Cough

• Shortness of breath

• Loss of taste or smell

• Close contact with someone with Covid-19

If you have any of these symptoms, you should text coaches and STAY AT HOME.

Before arriving at the training session

​• Athletes are expected to practice normal health etiquette procedures.

** Wash hands, avoid touching the face, covering coughs and sneezes, etc.

Athletes should self check and screen for possible symptoms before arriving.

Athletes should stay at home if they have shown any above symptoms, anyone in their immediate household has shown symptoms, or they have had known contact with an individual that has shown symptoms.

All athletes should use hand sanitizer before entering the turf, grass fields, or school facilities.

** Families, please have it in the car or with the athlete for use prior to drop off.

All athletes should bring their own equipment—water bottles, sunscreen, hand sanitizer and a mask. None of this should be shared with other athletes.

All athletes must be registered in order to participate.


When you arrive at the training session

No spectators are permitted to attend training. Please don’t show up or drop off athletes more than 10 minutes before training and return to pick them up at the end of the scheduled training time. Carpooling is highly discouraged.

Athletes should make their way down toward the turf or grass fields and should remain spaced at least 6 feet apart while they wait.

Athletes will not be allowed to enter the turf area until escorted by a coach.


Training groups and logistics

Each pod will have no more than 25 people (this includes players and coaches).

Only 2 pods will be allowed on the turf.

​Pods will not intermix during the workout.

Pods will follow social distancing guidelines (6 ft between individuals).

Athletes will be asked health screening questions. (see ?’s in above section)

****If any symptoms are confirmed, the athlete will be sent home and must be cleared to return by an appropriate health care official.****

All training will take place outdoors.

Training will utilize little to no equipment.

There will be no sharing of any equipment.

Surfaces that are touched will be disinfected.

Athletes must leave immediately after training is complete, no loitering.

If there is inclement weather, the coach will communicate if training will be cancelled for the day.
